ctexcel: Fido 4GB viable alternatives

For those that received the email, I recommend to call the Fido number in the email and ask about cancelling. When I called, it sounded like the were willing to offer me something similar with talk and text. I didn't pay attention to the talk and text details because I already signed up for Ctexcel and got the sim card in the mail.

Today is the 2nd day using it and I haven't noticed any restrictions. All the apps work: mail, search and maps work for me. The only difference I've noticed so far is cosmetic to me: on Fido, it used to say LTE beside the network icon, whereas now it shows 4G. I can't tell any difference in speed.

It's China Mobile. Looks like the same plan offered by cmlink.

I signed up for the plan on the website and the SIM card was mailed to me by ExpressPost.

Can you use this data outside Ontario?
As long as telus has coverage, it can be used?

Can service be used outside of the Telus network, such as Rogers?
