The customer service at FareBuzz is criminal.

The customer service at FareBuzz is criminal.

After trying to order a set of tickets, they claimed that they were unable to process the order due to problems with the airline's system. These things happen, so we rebooked another set of tickets.

The problem was that Farebuzz charged us an extra $750 from the first set of tickets - without authorization. After several unsuccessful attempts to reason with their customer, we agreed to pay the unfair cancellation fee ($75) in order to simply have the matter closed.

That was about 5 months ago. Farebuzz has still not refunded our credit card, even though they agreed to and claim that it's been done (we have emails as records). The Visa company has no record of any attempted refund.

What's most frustrating is the ambivalent attitude of the company. Even if there IS some sort of issue with processing of the refund (which I doubt, since this is a simple matter for any accounting department), should the company not be following up and looking into it? It's been 5 months with no resolution to a simple problem that was their fault in the first place.

Even if you have had successful transactions with Farebuzz, this is not the kind of company you want to purchase from out of principle. Also, with any luck, the Better Business Bureau might be removing them from public harm any time how. Out of solidarity with other travel agents and customers, please DO NO book with Farebuzz.
