CVT Repair Shop - GTA

I've got a 2013 Nissan Sentra that likely needs a CVT rebuild.

It doesn't apply for the settlement as it's outside the year and kms.

Anyone have a good recommendation in TO/east GTA with pricing?

Don’t rebuild it.
The car value doesn’t justify paying to rebuild a transmission.

What’s your budget on the repair?

A manual swap is probably better but may not fit your need.

It's got 165k kms. Quick search and a rebuild will cost $3000 ish. Value is around $8-9k. Sentra is in great shape otherwise.

Its my in-laws car they no longer need. Trying to get them the most value. It's worth a lot more than $500 scrap value especially in today's market.

I found one Sentra below $7k on Autotrader. The rest $8-11k.

Asking prices and what they actually sell for are two different things.

In this market it might be worth it.

Therefore, your value is more like 5k if selling or trading in. Listing price on AT doesn't mean much

Go get some values from clutch and Canadadrives ...i don't think it's worth headache for such a cheap car to sell yourself imo
