I bought this on Amazon lightening deal on Nov 30th 2015 for $149.99.

It will drop to that price again if you can wait.

It's an impressive UPS, I recommend it.

Same here, got it at that price back then. It's a solid UPS, I like the design and how it stands up, so it can be set up beside my desk. Accessible but also out of the way.

I also have this one. Very nice UPS. However, it has half the runtime of a "proper" 1500VA UPS but it's also half the price.

I use this just to keep my DS1512+ and my i7 based ITX home server going between power interruptions and give it time to shut down gracefully during longer ones, don't care about run time as long as it lasts at least a few minutes. I like the fact that the display actually lights up and tells me why it's kicking on as well as the input voltage. It has done the job, it's not as nice as my APC units but it works.

That being said unless you are running multiple servers off of it, a smaller APC for less money (You can find the BE550G for around $60 quite often) would do the job perfectly fine.
