[Dell] Dell: KINGSTON KHX5300S2LLK2/4G 4GB 667MHz DDR2 SODIMM kit $61 (*09/26-10/02*)

UPDATE 09/30/08:

looks like [rfdlink=55]Dell[/rfdlink] ran OOS on this item and pulled the product webpg...

-----------

UPDATE 09/28/08:

thx to ZenOps for headsup, this is now $2 cheaper :D

-----------

starting TODAY, [rfdlink=55]Dell[/rfdlink] will be selling their Kingston KHX5300S2LLK2/4G HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-5300 667 MHz DDR2 SODIMM kit for $63, reg. $138

----------------------------------------
UPDATE:

for those who want to support RFD, here are the RFD links:
[rfdlink=55]Dell[/rfdlink] component shop deals: http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/cli ... =10&subid=

[rfdlink=55]Dell[/rfdlink] Kingston sodimm RAM: http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/cli ... =10&subid=
----------------------------------------

[rfdlink=55]Dell[/rfdlink] ($63): Kingston 4GB kit 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM Memory Module

latency timing: 4-4-4-12 at 1.8V

[IMG]http://snpi.dell.com/sna/images/product ... 639941.JPG[/IMG]

$63 + tax, free s/h f/ [rfdlink=55]Dell[/rfdlink] as usual

FYI, this is one of their sale items listed on their Dell one-stop component shop deals webpg

comparable to FS's usual $30-35 sale for the 2GB sodimms (Corsair, [rfdlink=53]Crucial[/rfdlink], Kingston)

for this deal, it comes down to $31.50 for each 2GB sodimm stick. better part is it's shipped free (whereas usually FS's sale is web-only, and s/h is mandatory -_- )

FYI, FS also has a Kingston 2GB sodimm for $35 reg. price

FS ($35): Kingston 2GB 200-Pin PC2-5300 DDR2 SODIMM Notebook Memory

e.g. of past sale thread:
Aug. '08 - Comp - [Merged] FS $34 for Kingston 2GB DDR2 memory (deal courtesy of BigM)

however, i believe the one that FS carries is Kingston`s "valueRAM" memory, whereas the ones here are "HyperX", which i believe are "better grade" ... (s/b correct me if i'm wrong)

enjoy

Well...HyperX is supposed to be Kingston's higher performance line. It is laptop memory though so I'm not sure how high performance you can get. :razz:

And of course I don't think you're a robot! If anything, you're a Pochacco with a Christmas hat. A Christmas hat full of deals! Either that or the little brown dude on his back is telling you about the deals and you're taking credit. It seems like it's too busy sleeping though. :D

Would be nice if my HP & Compaq laptops are still working. Unforunately both of them died shortly after warranty. Otherwise I'd jump on this deal for sure.

Hi - Can I use this memory for my Inspiron 1525?

The tech spec on my computer says "Up to 4GB3 shared2 Dual Channel 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM provides blazing performance"

I am assuming yes but I would like a confirmation. Thanks!
