total travel time for <$600 flights are 33+hr. Too bad it won't work that well for people like who have kids.

Looks like you can also open-jaw for the same price!!!

For example:
YYZ-HKG-YVR (United/ANA $566)
YVR-HKG-YUL (Air Canada/United $590)
YWG-HKG-YYC (Delta $595)
etc.

At www.united.com, Toronto-HK roundtrip is 20-23 hours travel time. Connect time is 3 hours at SFO. Price 596.46 CAD. Nov 2-16.

I flew to Hong Kong with United 3 years ago. The connecting flight to Chicago is alright, but the flight to HKG was grueling.

The equipment they used was 747-400. It was noisy, seats were tight, no personal entertainment unit and the food was awful. Maybe things have changed since.

I'm not that familiar with Aeroplan miles but I added my account number - will I earn miles and what are they worth?
