Deck finishing

Hello
Just looking for some advice for my new build in the Lower mainland.

I've had some people suggest that for my 600 sqft second floor deck instead of putting vinyl, that i put 2 layers of torch then 2" of concrete. I can't seem to find much on the internet about this, so id just like to see if anyone has any insight. Thanks in advance.

Wait, what? Two inches of concrete? Where on Earth did you hear this?
You'd better get some engineering drawings for that project.

It's a new build, there are engineered drawings already.

The engineered drawings might not be designed for a 2" thick concrete deck. That is Alot of additional weight.

If you want to use the space under the deck you can put vinyl and then composite or wood on top.
