Knowledge is bit dated, but early to mid 2010s the salary ranges on glassdoor for brand managers were pretty accurate. Same for AM/AE if you're also thinking sales.
They used to recruit in, and was often nice deal with pension, benefits, good balance. Company cars in sales were possible.

Any reason why CPG? Marketing in banks, telecoms and insurance pretty extensive. I know one former cpg person who was always fearful things would be pulled back to head office back in us. Cdn firms are good in that it all happens here and moving up doesn't mean moving south.
