Deleting Whatsapp account. what will happen to Whatsapp images and video in Gallery?

Deleting Whatsapp account. what will happen to Whatsapp images and video in Gallery?

using Android.
Will those Whatsapp photos and video be saved in the Gallery if I delete the WS account or uninstall the app altogether but keep account?

Not sure what happens when you delete the app but you can go into the whatsapp/media directory and copy everything over to somewhere else to preserve all of the photos/videos.
