[Dell] 27" 1080p 144hz Curved Monitor - S2721HGF - 10% Coupon - 14% RK - $193.49

Found this curved gaming monitor on Dell's website. 1080p for a 27" panel is known to be "non-desirable" however, if you're the kind that doesn't really care that much, this may be the monitor for you especially with its current price. This monitor is originally on Dell's website for $405.70 however they're having a sale with an instant rebate of $155.71 off for $249.99. This sale price is also stackable with a coupon code found below ($25.00 off) AND Rakuten is offering 14% cash back ($31.50) that drives the price down to $193.49 before taxes. You're looking at roughly $222.74 depending on your province.

Specs:
Panel: LED-backlit LCD monitor
Resolution: 1920x1080
Refresh Rate: 144hz
Response Time: 4 ms (grey-to-grey); 1 ms (MPRT)
Curvature: 1500R
Brightness: 350 cd/m²
Colour Support: 16.7 million colours
Contrast Ratio: 3000:1
Adaptive-Sync Technology: AMD FreeSync, NVIDIA G-SYNC
Input Connectors: 2xHDMI, DisplayPort

Monitor Review
I've also added a picture down below for curvature comparisons

Notes:
Rakuten for 14% cashback
Coupon Code: 10%OFFMONITOR
Pair this up with a cashback credit card for additional savings
Dell rewards of up to $7.00 however YMMV with that.

Damnit! I just bought this on Friday without the deeper discount or Rakuten. also used $9 of my Dell dollars.

Anyone know if I cancel and repurchase if my deal bucks come back ASAP to reuse tonight ? Rakuten makes this worth it versus Dell money expiring anyways but I want to use those up if possible.

Anyone have experience in getting Dell Bucks back o cancelations? If so how long before you can get em back?

Real talk. I caved and became a RFD PPI patrol member (not full time, just worked security). Once you go QHD, you can never go FHD without looking behind your back. Upvoted because 144hz and sheer value of this deal. This is a fantastic price for gaming monitor that require fast refresh rate. I went with the 23.8".

If only it was VA or IPS instead of TN... oh well, will wait for AOC or another brand to go on sale.

Is the 27" suitable for regular desktop use if one isn't gaming on it?

It's great for real estate, however, the added bells and whistles for this monitor wouldn't be worth it for you. You're better off only looking for a 27" 1080p (or possibly 1440p @ 60hz) if the price is cheaper (or the same if 1440p)

27" is ideal for QHD 2k but any resolution lower makes the pixels "stretch". The average user wouldn't be able to tell but it triggers enthusiasts.

If not for gaming and dell dollars burning a hole in my pocket, I would highly recommend and buy another Lenovo 23.8" 1440p monitor for around 150 after 14% rakuten big YMMV. I really used to be a non believer of PPI until owning and comparing FHD and QHD monitors of the same size.
