[Dell] 32" 165Hz Curved Gaming Monitor: S3220DGF $494.99 after coupon

Been watching this for a while and purchased it today as It has pretty good reviews.

32" VA panel, 1440p, 165Hz, Freesync 2 which is supported by both AMD and Nvidia, no built in speakers.

Apparently it has an HDR mode too.

Use coupon 10%OFFMONITOR to get the price of 494.99.

I think it's been slightly lower in price in the past but that was when the dollar was stronger.

Was 499 just a few weeks before.

I ordered one and been waiting 1+ month on shipment. Huge delays likely due to supply chain from Covid. So take that into account. If you need it now might need to reconsider.

Rakuten is at 2.0%.

Too bad about the 499 but the dollar getting its ass kicked means it will prob be a while before we see it at that price again

Message for competitive FPS gamers:

As good as a deal this seems to be (I got this for even cheaper, <$400 after tax. $495 + another 10% off /$40 delay credits/8% rakuten/ $14 dell rewards credit), the response time is too slow for competitive FPS games.

Much slower than Acer 24.5 240hz xf0 xf250q (recently on sale for ~$280+tax) and my old Dell S2716DG, this results in noticeable motion blur and also looks very pixelated.

Planning to keep my S2716DG and return both the S3220DGF the Acer XF250Q. The S3220DGF is big and great non competitive gaming (as in you play for fun, and not to win or boost MMR) and the 1080p on XF250Q in 2020 is pretty sad after using 1440p for years.

Dell has been inflating their prices since the pandemic. I would avoid them and not encourage this kind of practice.
