Dell monitors are inflated in price right now due to COVID pandemic, maybe coz of supply and demand crisis or due to parts being scarce. Similar to monitors some computer components have also been inflated in prices aswell. So, do keep in mind while making purchases~

With the same features as this monitor at approximately $500? Wait another 3+ years.

This monitor has FreeSync 2, 1.07 billion colours, 1440p, adjustable stand, VA panel with great blacks, HDR (not the best but works), HDMI 2.0 (if specs increased then 2.1 would be great)

I bought as a bang for the buck upgrade. I would absolutely love a 38 inch ultra wide, but I can’t justify $1000-$1500 depending on specs

The only problem is MORE than ONE MONTH waiting ...
Bought it one month ago for around $500 (tax include, 10% discount applied), the shipment was already delayed THREE times.
If there's no more suprise, still need to wait one more week.

$495 for this monitor is a great deal, not encouraging anything.

Once again, nothing wrong with this price at all, it's a great deal.

I got this monitor for 499$ at Best Buy and it's been great so far. Perfect size for a big desk, fast refresh rate, good picture calibration out of the box and comes with all the cables you need.

Don’t mean to thread jack but what would be a good dell monitor (24/27) to set up a work-from-home station with a dual set up? Thanks. I have 2 24s at work. Are 2 27s too much?

Good question. I'm in the same boat, I'm thinking of doing a 32 UltraWide and have my laptop open next to it whenever I need it. Haven't pulled any triggers yet.

what about the samsung 27 and 32 1440p 144hz VA ones? $399.99 and used to be 449.99 respectively. 8 bit colour as well and 300cd/m2 brightness. still think the 27 is the sweet spot lol

I have 2x UltraSharp 27" (U2719D I think) at the office and it's great. But at their price I think it's a bit far off for WFH.

it's definitely not "too much" size wise, as long as you have them 1440p, not FHD

I complained to Dell via chat that almost 3 weeks from order and actual delivery is way too long so they gave me $30 off per monitor, even better deal now!

There's no better choice around $500.
BenQ EX3501R maybe an alternative if it's on promotion.

HP Pavilion Gaming 32 HDR maybe a little better if you prefer HDR600 and real 10 BIT.
Samsung CHG70 is better but cost 50% more.

If you want to stick with 24's you could try these:

https://www.costco.ca/.product.1661724.html

If you don't like them you can return them, but for $65 more each I will take my 32" curved ones and wait.
