[Dell] 4K Vizio M series cheaper than Costco

Hi guys,

I've been watching and scouring TV deals for the last few days. Lots of people point to Costco as the place to go and many of my friends have as well. Well...

Here's an example:

Boxing day sale: Costco:
IZIO 65 Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV M65-D0 Ultra HD HDR Home Theater Display UHD TV
$1,599
http://www.costco.ca/Vizio-M65-D0-65-in ... 01078.html

Great TV for good price

But!

Dell.ca
http://accessories.dell.com/sna/product ... u=A8822380
IZIO 65 Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV M65-D0 Ultra HD HDR Home Theater Display UHD TV
$1,599 plus $50 dollar off e-coupon plus 10% back Ebates.

BAM

https://www.ebates.ca/coupons/dell-canada#

Promo Code: $50OFF$1000TVs

Hence: your looking at another $200 from the costco price. I just used this one TV as an example since it was the one I've been watching.

Also you can add a 5% Dell advantage which gives you 5% back on a future purchase.

And you can get a 2% member discount if you chat them as well. (not sure what is eligible) I believe students/government/healthcare workers

(Ps. If you add the members code directly it won't let you stack the $50 off)

Enjoy!

To my knowledge, people point to costco for the Haiers at 550ish and 750ish...
and the samsung for 790ish

statement is too broad. Specific price comparisons between prices of tvs should be made. Should probably have been posted in the boxing day section.

Well in general the 10% ebates this week basically makes most TV's cheaper from dell. Free shipping for both.

Costco does give you the extra 1 year warrantee.

The Vizio M65-D0 from Dell.ca was $1499.99 over the weekend plus the $50 off code, luckily I got it before it went back to $1599.
Remember to sign up for Dell Advantage for the extra 5% gift card as well!

It was $1499 on 24 Dec 16 with all the discounts listed above. Might have been 12.5% with ebates but was 10% for sure. Worked out to be $1250-$1300 plus tax according how many discounts you could find/add.

alright, you have convinced me that the price is better as long as ebates is in play. Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Tightly-closed Eyes

not trying to give you a hard time but you should probably put that in the thread point in the title.

I'd rather buy from Costco than Dell. The straight forward 90 return policy, the ability to buy 5 year concierge warranty (in home repairs!), all make it worth the extra, IMHO. How would one deal with a TV of that size if you had an issue with it?
I bought a 65" Visio on sale from Costco at the beginning of December, and I'm here to tell you, I'm glad I have a full size pick up.
I also like to save money, but my first experience with Visio wasn't a good one. Luckily it failed within the first 60 days, and I was able to return it to Costco.

It was 10% through EBates on the weekend.

FYI I was able to add on a 2% member discount for being an university student, you can online chat them to get a credit.

OP you should update the post to add on the 5% Dell Advantage gift cards and this 2% member discount as well! (on top of the 10% EBates and $50 off) =)

I was just there and they didn't have this model in the store only last years model. But store prices are 30-40 cheaper than the online price for delivery.

I bought it when it was on sale for 1499 and used the $50 off coupon but the process has been nothing but hell. I wish i just paid more and got it from Costco. Dell is telling me its coming form a third party and its back ordered but they don't know how long for. i was told id be updated 24 hours after i called but that never happend... now i just have 1500$ in the wind.

What is good about the M-series? If we can get a large Haier or well-reviewed 6300-series Samsung (cheaper 6270 version) on Boxing Week special for > $1000, what makes the M special?

I did some quick reading and M-series doesn't even support true HDR with a wide color gamut. Isn't that more important than 4K these days and the "next big thing?"
