[Dell] Alienware 34" AW3418DW Ultrawide 120hz G-SYNC (10%OFFMONITOR) = $1151 + 10% ebates

Incredible deal in my opinion. This is noted as probably the best ultrawide monitor that's currently on the market.

The notable specs are as followed:
  • 3440x1440p
  • 120hz (overclocked)
  • 4ms response time
  • IPS Panel
  • NVIDIA G-SYNC
  • 3 Year Dell Advanced Exchange Warranty
  • sRGB 99% color coverage

Regular price $1699. $420 off with Dell right now. Add 10%OFFMONITOR coupon for an additional $128 off for $1151, and then get it through ebates for another 10% cashback.

In the past I've had issues with 10%OFFMONITOR working for Alienware branded products, however if you call in you will be able to get a salesperson to apply the coupon with a manager exception.

I got this monitor a few months ago for $1303.45 after ON taxes (13%), and it's absolutely gorgeous. If anyone has any questions let me know.

Yeah this monitor definitely caters to very specific people. Gamers and creative developers will appreciate it, being an IPS monitor and still 120hz with 1440p and G-Sync. It's everything I need.

Also if you do any development, being able to have 3 full code columns on the screen is delightful

Isn't this an all time low for canada?
That's a pretty nice find OP, I already have a 34" 1440p ultrawide at 60hz... I'm really tempted to upgrade for g-sync & 120hz. (+the curved and flexible stand adjustement..)

Anyone eyeballing ultrawide gaming monitor, this is the best one released right now. At this price point if you were in the market for one, I'd say jump on it. Even you you want to wait for the 200hz ultrawide pannels, they're gonna be outrageously pricey at launch.
I'm probably gonna sleep on it, but daaaamn, I wonder if I should bit the bullet myself for the upgrade.

EDIT: Yeah, I couldn't sleep on it. I bought it. Thanks OP!

Oh man these things are so pricey.
I once saw an Acer X34 on CL for 600, and I thought they had lost it to ask 600 for a 2yr old monitor with some minor scratches.

They're definitely pricey, yes! But anyone in the market for that kind of monitor already has a high end setup, including a 700$++ GPU. It's for enthusiastic people, that's for sure!

By the way, anyone knows when this deal ends?

ordered. Thanks OP.

I noticed there was no extended warranty option. I find they are usually worthwhile on Dell monitors.

Price is not that good. Maybe warm, if you want only this monitor and you want it now, but I've seen it for $1050 some months back(not on dell site though) and other brands sell similar monitors with the same specs under $900 easy. It's not even 4k...

While there’s no option to purchase extended warranty, dell themselves offer for free the Advanced Exchange Seevice that comes with the monitor for 3 years. You’re essentially getting extended warranty for free, which is why this is probably a better buy than the Acer X34P.

You’re probably comparing the Acer X34 that’s 60hz overclockable to 100hz or the Alienware AW3418HW which is goes on sale for around $1k pretty often, but that’s a 1080p monitor.

The only 4K gaming monitor with a refresh rate of 144hz is the ASUS PG27UQ which is currently selling for $2600. This monitor I believe is the lowest it’s ever been.

You either saw last year's model or a lower end model. This is the cheapest price it's ever been. And please share with us similar spec monitors for under $900.

By the way, gaming on this monitor is gorgeous. I can't go back to 16:9 monitor.

At the moment this is unquestionably the best all around gaming monitor EXCEPT the 4K monitors which are undersize, and three times as expensive.
