I see on pictures it appears to have some sort of port that looks like it could take a barrel plug for external power, but I don't see it mentioned anywhere so I'd be wary if it didn't have external power support AND you're intending on plugging in, say, external unpowered hard drives to this hub. Like those 2.5" external hdds.

Was about to get one, as I don't really have any usb3 hubs with me now. I'd like to have the ability of hooking up usb3 2.5" hdds that get their power from the USB plug, this hub couldn't power more than one of those, probably.

My old motherboard only comes with 2 usb 3 ports, recently just ordered a hub off ali.
If you're not in a rush, I gotten a 7 port with US ac adapter for about $18 shipped. Only a 1A adapter though, but better than nothing.
