3-Cell Battery, 51 Whr (Integrated)

Is that not super small for a gaming laptop?

I don't know many gaming laptops that are good for actual gaming while on battery. They often have small batteries (like this one) because they just keep a bit of power for moving between rooms and maybe surfing a bit from the couch...

Nice deal.
CPU is very nice and the GPU is somewhat equivalent to a GTX 1660ti

I wouldn't worry too much about the battery since gaming on battery is never really a viable option.

Here is a complete review
https://www.notebookcheck.net/Going-all ... management

Pros
+ easy serviceability; 2x SODIMM, 2x M.2 2280
+ minimal ghosting, high refresh rate
+ impressive processor performance
+ quad-zone RGB keyboard lighting
+ adaptive sync on 144 Hz panel
+ high performance-per-dollar
+ decent battery life

Cons
- very warm CPU and GPU temperatures
- PWM on almost all brightness levels
- very warm surface temperatures
- no adaptive sync on 60 Hz panel
- fingerprint-loving clickpad keys
- uneven backlight bleeding
- slow SD card reader
- spongy clickpad
- loud fan noise

Just be aware of the limitations:
- No Gen 2 (10 Gbps) USB ports on this laptop; all the USB ports on this one are either Gen 1 (5 Gbps) or the much slower USB 2.
- Netflix streaming will be limited to 1080p even if this laptop is connected to an external 4K display (monitor/TV) since Netflix requires Nvidia GPU for streaming 4K to PC.

If you read reviews about high temperature issues, Reddit has fixed it. A combo of dell bios update and a hidden windows 10 power option brings temps back into completely normal ranges both at idle and during gaming. I posted it in another dell G5 thread a month or two ago I'll try to find the link.

Just curious, I’m a bit of a noob with gaming laptops. What would be the equivalent desktop build? 3600 with a 1660?

I think these are very specific limitations. How often does the average person use these features.
