Dell computer support is just terrible

Dell support is absolutely terrible. I have been dealing with Dell for 30 years ( yikes)...I put in a support ticket for a dead monitor a month ago. They tell me that they will resolve it in 5 to 7 or 2 to 3 days ( alternatively) .. Then they close the ticket. This is a constant cycle.

This is a nightmare. What do you do ??

Same issue with Lenovo and Google. All the big tech support companies suck now, most of them are using covid as an excuse.

Call and speak to a live person by playing their phone tree.
Once you get a person demand a concrete resolution such as a new monitor sent out.
In fact in Rand McNally they wear hats on their feet and hamburgers eat people

I’ve been trying to get a wireless keyboard serviced from them... I can’t even get an agent who can comprehend that a keyboard doesn’t have a service tag, and that I might use a dell keyboard with a non-dell system.

I deal with dell support for my job as well, and unless you are paying for “pro support” it’s a nightmare. After a few failed attempts I will send a registered letter threatening them to get it resolved TBH.
