You never know. Maybe they'll have coupon error again that doubles the savings like the U2311H error that I missed out on few months ago and you'll be able to get this 24" for $200
More_toys wrote: My buddy picked one up 2 or 3 weeks ago, when they were on for $1199. Nice monitor. Nice touch to have the memory card reader built-in.

for $1200 I'd be disappointed if my monitor couldn't wash my dishes

Took over a month to get my money back last time they listed the wrong product at an insane cheap price. Didn't help that they sent the item to the wrong address using the wrong phone number so that purolator could not contact me, which wouldn't have mattered because Dell will not let purolator change the address, even if the customer requests it. I'm done with Dell.

Weird, I changed my delivery address twice already so far without hassle. Just lucky I guess

With all due respect, I think you've visited the wrong forum today. We come here looking for deals. We use the savings on the things we buy to justify buying more things, thus filling our homes with tons of unnecessary consumer products. Such is the key to happiness.

I would enjoy such a deal. I would certainly like a new screen, as I am running a 21" crappy TN panel at the moment. I wonder if the U2412 is the right monitor for me though. I would kind of like to have HDMI (although it has DVI-D with HDCP...aren't there adapters to plug HDMI into that, since it's really the same thing?) and I wonder if I want to hold out for a 27" panel. Plus the 6-bit color reproduction bothers me, even though I recognize that I'd probably never notice the difference.
