[Dell] Dell 27 Gaming Monitor: S2719DGF (FreeSync) - $449.99

27" Dell Gaming monitor. Reg $669. One day sale.

Edit; original deal is over, but its still on sale at $499.99, but you can still apply the 10% coupon and get it for $449.99. I got my order in last night and with the coupon is was $425 after tax.

Dell also has a bunch of other Displays on sale for today, https://www.dell.com/en-ca/shop/deals/ar/8245 and get an extra 10% of select displays, including this one by using 10%OFFMONITOR

One question I have is that my nVidia graphics card only has 1 HDMI (1.4) port and one DisplayPort port, but I am using the the displayport port for my 4k monitor. So it looks like I wont be able to drive another display at QHD and 144hz over HDMI 1.4.. Any other solution besides buying a different graphics card? I believe I also have Dual-Link DVI..

Good find! You can apply the 10%OFFMONITOR code to the S2719DGF to bring the price down to $404.99.
Also has free shipping and 2% Ebates.

I believe this is the lowest price the monitor has ever been even if you don't bother with Ebates.

Specs:
27" 2560x1440
Panel: TN
155 Hz refresh rate
1ms GTG response rate
AMD FreeSync (Compatible with NVIDIA drivers based on user reports I've read)
Height, Pivot, Swivel, and Tilt-adjustable stand
VESA mount compatible (100mm x 100mm)

Does Unidays 10% off stack with that coupon?

Just tested and it does not. The Unidays code overwrites the 10%off code.

FYI this is the FreeSync version, not the G-Sync version.

Good note, put it in the title. It should be *less* of a concern now that nVidia has opened up Gsync to work with freesync displays.

You might just have to use your 4k monitor with HDMI but at 30Hz?

That was an option.. what I'm thinking is when I 'game' I might just disconnect the 4K screen, and switch this screen over to the display port (to get the 144hz).. otherwise, it will run fine on the HDMI port, just at 60hz, which will work fine for a dual display setup. (until I get a better graphics card).

I might also see if I can run the 4k display on my processors integrated graphics, since all it needs to do is display webpages, and youtube videos.

If you game competitively at all, this is a better buy than the 32" LG 144hz VA that everyone's going crazy for. 1ms vs 5ms and this screen size (or even 24") is better so that you don't have to move your eyes to see the whole field of view. I wouldn't buy a gsync monitor today now that nvidia's opened up support for freesync, big price premium for little to no benefit and locks you into using an Nvidia card. If you game more casually or play single player games, the LG is probably better. Nice find OP I think it's $50 cheaper than it's ever been.

ahh man, I want to love it but my last benq TN panel is just so horrifying to look at. I'm scarred, at this price I want to give it a try though.
My wallet can only handle so much, must stop looking

I think 27 1440p 144hz IPS is still around 700ish mark, can’t wait for it to come down either

if it can help,
I bought this monitor a month ago for $500 with tax @Dell, and it's pretty amazing for this price.
Running this with a RTX 2070 with G-sync ON (after Nvidia released a driver update in january, some Freesync monitor are now compatible with G-Sync, this one included)!
27" 1440p 144hz with G-sync with this pixel density is really the best for gaming.
Obv reviews are true, black are far from deep and perfect (compare to a VA, LED,...) but pretty acceptable.

Gsync is better (how much depends on the freesync monitor), but ya being locked into nvidia sucks.

Also, there is 10% ebates on Dell Canada today, which brings the price down an additional $40.50! After my rebate I paid the equivalent of $369 + ON tax.
