[Dell] Dell 27 inch 4K Monitor P2721Q with USB C -- $558

Decent deal for Dell P2721Q. Price on the website is $620 but you can use the official coupon 10%OFFMONITOR for 10% off.

I know this deal is not comparable with the deal early this year. But for those like me who missed that deal, this is decent. Or you may want to wait util Black Friday for a better deal.

P2721Q is a 27 inch 4K monitor with USB c port, which has PD of 65W. 21 in the model number states for model year 2021. P is for professional use and Q is 4K.

I assume this is overkill for office work and light gaming?

Can anyone tell me the difference between S and P series monitors besides the warranty? If looking at similar specs between the two, would the internals be similar too or do the P series actually have better components. Looking for longevity/reliability.

Is this better than the BenQ EW2780U that was on sale for 522 on prime day?

What is the point of USB C port on a monitor? Just to connect it to your computer?

You have instant access to other things connected to the monitor. So it acts as a giant USB hub.

And connects via one cable that does everything.

Depends on the work. I do photo editing and graphic design so the colour gamut is really good on this model. It's on sale at the dell site again and the 10% coupon works

I don't think this is entirely true. I think it's either power&monitor or USB hub, not both simultaneously. I would be helped if anyone can confirm or disconfirm.
