Ordered it. Delivery date Nov 10th. Mainly for productivity (and some light gaming). Lets see how it goes. Seemed like a great deal for 4K.

After comparing both the 27 & 32 inch options along with talking to couple of friends with curved monitors, I ordered the 32 inch with delivery date of Nov 10th. It will be used as a larger screen for MacBook & iPad with occasional ps4 gaming

The chat rep did say it may be possible to get it earlier with possibly increased production based on current demand. Let's see!

You got the order wrong.. Buy first and then ask for forgiveness.. Not ask for approval first then buy later.

I ordered at 32 inch one but now see another 32 with a great price >>> DELL GAMING MONITOR at $550 (before 10% coupon).

How do these 2 different 32" curved screens compare?

S3221QS is 4K @ 60Hz
S3220DGF is 1440p @ 165 Hz

One tiny detail, the 165Hz monitor can also accept 4K 60 signal via HDMI 2.0

Like when I check the resolution on my PS Pro plugged in it says 4K 60Hz, so it can accept the signal. It looks fine, even the Bell cable box can be set to 4K 60Hz and works.

Makes sense, I think it accepts the signal, but limited to the 1440p resolution on the monitor.

I will wait for the 4k one to ship as I think resolution for productivity is more important to me over 165Hz

I debated this a lot but aside from bit of convenience (1 less adapter / charging), it really isn't a bit deal.
I have been using HDMI cable with USB-C adapter for work for a while now and its been fine.

So this thread got me researching 4k monitors.

Looking at the U3219Q, it looks like it has nearly identical specs to the one in this thread except for a different panel type and USB C. But it's triple the price.

Wondering what you're missing out on by getting this deal vs the U3219Q? Doesn't seem like anything? So why pay triple for the "better" model?

From my research U3219Q is a great monitor for work, and I was planning on buying it as soon as the price drops a bit more. It's been on sale for $729.99 since at least August. Unfortunately it's been out of stock for the past 2 weeks with expected date in stock late Nov - early Dec. So I got S2721QS instead. It should be delivered next week.

The ViewSonic is better for gaming due to the faster response time and much faster refresh rate, plus you probably ordered the ViewSonic for $310. Curved monitors aren't great for content creation, and this doesn't have IPS either, so I'm not really sure who this monitor is supposed to be for, unless all you care about is 4K. Watching movies or pure screen real estate, maybe?
Nobody cares which exploitative corporations you give your money to every month. Capitalism is a plague on this planet. Get that crap out of your signature.
