Just remember, the RAM is slow on this, and there is no MUX switch on the base model. As such, performance is middling. Upgrade the screen and buy some good (read: low density) RAM (Crucial, HyperX, Corsair, etc) and you're golden. Use Ryzen Controller software (included) to lower temperatures, create a custom fan curve and always play on performance and it's a good machine.

Just to be clear, the email signup coupon works on this (someone reported that it doesn't and had the mod remove the post - please check before doing this as you will deny others from taking advantage of the deal)

THanks TheGuard, I didn't even know about MUX switch but just watched a video about it.....

But I play mostly AAA like cyberpunk and not esports so I suppose it should be ok.

Mux switch is working now by Dell new bios.

You can use the mux switch by bios. Dell has released the new bios.

Not possible. It's a hardware design limitation as the signal is processed by the dGPU, routed through the iGPU and finally to the display. The 165Hz display does not have a MUX switch as it is not connected directly to the dGPU. This cannot be updated by the bios. Playing on an external monitor bypasses the iGPU though since it is connected directly to the dGPU.

Edit: there you go, *when available*. The 165Hz 1080p display does not have Advanced Optimus nor the MUX switch. Only the QHD 240Hz and 1080p 360Hz displays do.

When available is only for advanced optimus. Mux switch is worked. You can check G15 5511 AND G15 5515 which is AMD version and Intel version on M15r5 and r6. They both have this update.
Dell hardware is supporting mux switch.

You check the whole process of g15 5511 which is 11th intel cpu version. THEY ONLY HAVE 165HZ 1080P SCREEN.

This is a very good deal! If I could throw in a 1440P monitor on that thing for a bit more, it would be really awesome! There's some decent pricing lately at dell, which is great!
Makes me think twice about the Zephyrus G15 I have here (3060). A couple months ago, I'd probably jump in on this deal.

There is a 1440p 240Hz option (+$200). That one comes with a MUX switch.

After updated the bios. Press F2, Select Display，Choose Hybird Graphics/Advanced Optimus to OFF.

Then enter in the system. You will see the UHD Graphic is always 0%. Only RTX3060 is working.
