Also looking for opinions on this Inspiron 15 7577 for $1899.99. This one

Besides ebates, suggestions on how to lower the price would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, just a quick questions. I am looking for a XPS 13 model which is now on BF pre-sale, which lasts from now till 23rd. Does it mean that on Door Busters, the sale will end and only XPS15 has the chance?

Use coupon code 10%CAA899
Seems to be the only code that still works at the moment.

I already see the U2417H monitor on sale for $299.99, is this sale supposed to start this weekend or Nov 24?
Seems like it already started, so I went ahead and ordered and finally joining the multiple monitor world.

It might be help to decide between the size. If you are looking for something more like an ultra book, stick with the XPS13 with 8th gen. If you are okay with lugging around a 4.5lb laptop then the xps15 will be great.

FYI XPS15 with the 8th gen and 4 lanes of PCIe in the thunderbolt port will be coming in Jan.... with 5k monitors.

Just a heads up for those who ordered within the last 30 days of BF, if your item(s) are on sale and marked lower than what you paid, you can get them price matched now. I called in yesterday and was able to do this on my u3415w which was priced $40 lower than what I paid (after all the stacked coupons).

Are the gaming desktops (Inspiron and alienware.... which should I choose if looking at similarly priced models?) decently priced or should I wait for boxing day? Looking to spend about $1200-1600

I don't exactly understand Dells ordering process.

I ordered something Friday and Sunday.

I received acknowledgement email of Friday's order, nothing from Sunday.

Acknowledge email says its not a confirmation email and I have to wait up to 5 business days for that, call them if not received by then.

I have no idea of shipping dates.
Credit card has been pre-charged for both.

It seems like a strange and outdated process for a tech focused company in 2017.

Yikes. The 8GB version of this (everything the same) was achievable for $1400 earlier this week. You would've been better off building your own system.

Oh well, not a *terrible* purchase. You're only paying a few hundred over retail. Enjoy the system :)

Same thing roughly, priced out with mostly cheapest parts: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/HsjjtJ

He/She got a good deal by the looks of it. Built and delivered with a warranty for couple hundred less than getting individual parts. Then 11% cashback ontop of everything.

Not a chance. I priced it out over weeks, and compared to NCIX and NewEgg, the same system with an 8th Gen i7 and that much ram, plus m.2 SSD goes for 2000-2500 before taxes. This also gives me 2 years of Dell warranty, Windows 10 Included (wasnt adding that into price before as I would have tried to find a cheaper copy), and a keyboard and mouse (yay).

Yeah 2 Grand was the cheapest I could possibly get it, before taxes, from anywhere else. This is a great deal, especially with 11% cash back like you said, which I would not have been able to get from NCIX or anything like that for the most part.

Dell 27 QHD Gaming Monitor with NVIDIA G-Sync - $599.99
Hi everyone would there be any coupons for this monitor? Are there some good alternatives that are ips instead of tn but still have decent speed?

I remember only a few years ago you save something crazy like 50% off a prebuilt price going the DIY route, it was even more when I was a kid and the pentium was the fancy new chip on the block!

Don't know when the switch happened but prebuilts are better deal now. Enjoy your setup!
