This is active now and if you use the code 10%OFFMONITOR it brings it down another $30 to $269.99. Pretty good price. It's going to replace my Dell 2408WFP that I paid at least double that 9 years ago.

Hey everyone, I am also researching for a monitor and have been looking at the deal @Wrocky mentioned.
I don't really have high requirements (gaming, movies .. ) , just want to use it at home for editing documents and browsing web as an extension to my Macbook pro 13". I looked at a bunch of monitors including Dell SE2417HG (BF price $129.99) , Dell SE2717H (currently on sale for $299.99) and Asus Eye care 23" VZ239H (BF price $149.99 at Source) and I am leaning towards the first.
Any suggestions re. the monitors?

7th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-7700 Processor
Windows 10 Home 64bit English

It's listed under the Black Friday Presales, but I suspect the the "savings" isn't particular to the event...

I loved my 2408WFP even though the U2417H is beautiful, I think I will miss my 120 lines. 1200P makes a big difference IMO. Are there any other deals on monitors that are almost as good but cheaper than this?

You're right, it is only 1920 x 1080. Not like the 1920 x 1200 like the 2408WFP had. To get the full resolution, you need to get the U2412M which isn't on sale at the moment. I totally missed that, and now I'm second guessing my purchase, as it was to go beside another monitor that is 1920 x 1200.

FWIW, I bought my original UltraSharp quite a few years ago and I love it for editing photos. You pay a premium for ultrasharp. The other members of my family don't use these Ultrasharp monitors, as they are in the same boat as you. I'm the only one who is really picky about colour. If you're not picky, you can pick up something cheaper that the Dell U2417H.hasanm82 wrote: ↑ Hey everyone, I am also researching for a monitor and have been looking at the deal @Wrocky mentioned.

I don't want to pay $300 for 1080P, for $200 I would get it because I know a dell will last. I might just buy the one for $129 SE2417H it's TN but slightly brighter 300 vs 250. I think BB has an IPS for $150 on black Friday, I may go for thatWrocky wrote: ↑ You're right, it is only 1920 x 1080. Not like the 1920 x 1200 like the 2408WFP had. Warning, don't ever do a for work order and a for home order on the same account. I spent over 2 hours on the phone today trying to find out which hole my orders had fallen into (cc charged for both but no email or anything else), 12 offshore reps in I finally found one that gave a damn.
I too got a 5% code today. I'm scared of asking it to be applied to my current home order after todays ordeal but its over $100 worth.
Still haven't sorted the work order yet. Hoping that will be less draining than today, that seems to route to Canada call centre.

S2716DG at $599 is live and 10%OFFMONITOR coupon works. Ebates currently at 10% too.
Total was $539.99 + HST = $618.10
Should get $53.99 back on ebates and 3% dell advantage rewards.
All in all seems like a great price for this monitor.

The coupon code entered is invalid. Please check the code to ensure that it was entered correctly
Is there something special you have to do to get this?
Also, the only thing that makes me hesitate on this ultra portable is I've read issues with coil whine. Maybe this was fixed, but I find that unacceptable on a high end laptop.

I think they disabled the code for Black Friday weekend, as with all codes. Which is why I bought yesterday because there was no mention of the XPS 13 having a more aggressive discount with actual Black Friday. It's funny that you mention this because I tried to buy something else with the same code and it didn't work, but I had the XPS 13 and all the stacked discounts saved in my cart for a couple days already so I logged in through eBates and it was all there for my taking.dieselboy27 wrote: ↑ I tried the -10%OFFCAA899 code, but I got this.
