Pulled the trigger on this one. Screen is a little slow response time but I wanted a higher refresh rate. FPS gains using DLSS on 3050 makes this is a pretty powerful machine for 1080p.

12 month 0% interest financing offer right now over $799 purchase as well.

Good, and probably way better build vs. the acer from Microsoft but would go with it as a better deal

Currently building a mid-range gaming PC. I can tell you that this laptop is a steal of a deal.

I am running a 5600x paired with a GTX 1650 super it's cost me more than this.

I've easily got 1k in to it buy the time you count the case the board the hard drives and the power supply.

And that's not even including windows

That's current real time prices I bought all components witin the last couple weeks.

Again that laptop is a steal of a deal considering the times we live in

Yeah but 3-4 years from now you can consider upgrading the desktop when GPU pricing *should* be more reasonable.

Good deal at that price - I got my daughter the 5800H/16GB/3060 version of the same laptop and it's been great.

Well, other than the Alienware Command Center app that it uses for fan profiles and backlighting. That thing is absolute garbage and I've had to reinstall it three or four times now, twice where the fans completely stopped working and the computer throttled way down to compensate.

Other than that the build quality has been good. This one has the lower brightness/refresh rate screen but is probably fine. Especially considering it's a good $600 less than what I paid.

i saw online there is new bios update.. i should be receiving mine with i7 and rtx3060 by next week.. (ordered last week). gonna get the windows key and then wipe it clean to reinstall myself, dont want all the bloatware

Did you update the BIOS for the MUX switch option? If you switch to hybrid mode in the bios you gain 10-20 fps

The Windows license should be baked into the motherboard now. No need to extract. It'll automatically activate itself.
