I haggled with Dell to give me this deal from last BF and they kicked me out and i got same model but with Ryzen 4700U and with unidays that costed me $702 + tax = $793
This is 4500U at $567 i am not sure ...if i should return my 4700U model or keep it as this is $612 after tax and rebate almost $181 Cheaper.

4500U or 4700U ????

Thanks OP! Was eyeing this on the weekend to buy a new laptop for my wife but didn't think to look at GCR. Used your Perkopolis code for 5% off as well. I owe you one!

Sadly, still too low on RAM for me when I use Android emulators like Nox, Bluestacks, or MEmu. While technically functional, it struggles when streaming video from sideloaded apps.

I seen the videos and for the most part, they're all intimidating and beyond my comfort level. If it's a simple PC RAM upgrade, sure, but not when it comes to laptops especially when there's soldered RAM (or not) and compatibility.

This laptop also shares it's RAM with the integrated video. With Windows 10 I don't believe that's enough RAM for my needs.

I'd pull the trigger on this but after having had a touch-screen I can't really go back.

It's silly that they are making these harder and harder to open.

This is the worst laptop I've ever had and I've had many laptops.

The thing does this freezing issue in Ubuntu that I just can't solve. I think it must be due to the ryzen / Radeon chipset. (Which is weird because I have acer laptops with ryzen that run Ubuntu fine).

Hey, I'm planning on running Ubuntu on this laptop but this is totally your fault, not theirs. They don't guarantee the laptop to work with Linux, it comes with Windows. So it might be the worse you've had because of your specific use case, but it certainly is a great laptop with the OS it comes with.

i agree but changing ram is just a one time thing, also i hate integrated battery, being inspiron, the build quality is lacking a bit.

Did we watch the same video? It seems to be a few screws and slide a CC to lift the back of the laptop to plug the RAM.

All laptops come with Windows and this is the first I've had that randomly freezes. It's cheap junk compared to Dell latitude, precision, acer Nitro, never had problems with them. I even had 2 previous Inspiron laptops that run Ubuntu fine. This model is cursed.
