[Dell] Dell Latitude 3590: i5-8250U, 8GB, 256GB ssd - hot? (849$)

Not sure if it's hot - what do you think?

Latitude 3590:
Intel Core i5-8250U Processor, 8GB,DDR4, 256GB SSD, Intel UHD Graphics 620

Original price is 1,687.07$ (seems very high...). It's 1,049$ as part of dell.ca sale and 849$ after applying DellSMBSave200.
+10$ off using ebates.ca. Other discounts (unidays) didn't stack.

850 should be the regular price for this.

Lenovo only $679 (128G SSD instead of 256G), but with IPS touchscreen

Using this (Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 14 81C9000CUS 2 in 1 PC) for few months - Immaculate Machine - was $ 649 last December (before boxing day) when I got it; touchscreen with 360 hinge and Lenovo Pen.

Have seen price drop to this point 3-4 times in last 6 months but goes OOS quickly.

I work with Lenovo processing any returns whether they be new/used/broken and can say i rarely find these coming back.

That $1,687 MSRP is just stupid.

BTW, anyone know where this deal is listed, as the RFD Affiliate Link just crashes and won't load - I checked under Latitude, Business Deals, etc and found nada.

Too bad there is no longer an option to put up a "clean" link.

This morning I noticed these two new deals:
New Inspiron 15 5000 2-in-1 (15.6'' i5-8250U cpu, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) - 849.99$ (764.99$ after unidays).
New Inspiron 14 7000 (14'' i5-8250U cpu, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) - 779.99$ (20$ door buster discount is automatically applied so not possible to add codes).
In addition there's 12% from ebates

Any of them worth it?

the Inspiron 2-1 has better display with an IPS panel but I believe it has been as low as $799. The non 2-1 Inspiron 5000 has inferior TN panels but 7000 is IPS. I have one of them 5000 series, colour is all washed out. If you use it for productivity it's ok but I wouldn't buy it if you watch movies on it.

My bad. The 5000 series doesn't but I guess the 7000 series is IPS.

Apologies.
