[Dell] Dell monitors 10% off code AND 10% ebates

Coupon code: 10%OFFMONITOR

A wide selection of monitors have been discounted. Was shopping around for budget monitors for my parents. Found the SE2717H for a decent price. Everyone has their own preferences for monitors, but I'll list some hopefully useful links. A lot of them don't have VESA mounts unfortunately. Don't know how these stack up against boxing day sales.

I was so ready to buy the U2718Q during Black Friday, until I discovered this morning that it doesn't have Freesync, which would be wonderful with my new Vega 64 Purolator left in front of my door this morning... :(

Bought a SE2717H this spring as my main PC monitor, I really like it. Actually picked up 2 more (last sale / ebates combo) and a used RX580 for some 'budget' triple screen 1080p iRacing action.

Learned alot about Displayports and HDMI limitations. (AMD Eyefinity requires at least 1 monitor be hooked to a Displayport btw). When runing high refresh rates or high resolutions (5760 x 3240), the proper cables/connectors become important. This link should help:
https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/72 ... apters-v2/

For example, I can only run my (3) 75hz monitors at 60hz (w/freesync) with a passive Displayport adapter. I can run them at 75hz with an active adaptor, but loose freesync. For my use, I should have bought 3 monitors with native Displayport instead of the HDMI on the SE2717H.

Also, although a bit pricy (~$35 on Amazon.ca) you can get adapters that clips in where the OEM stand does to give you a VESA plate for mounting if you find that special monitor deal that's right for you but no VESA is a deal breaker.
