I believe this has the two USB upstream ports that make this also a USB switch (like a kvm) when you change inputs... Awesome feature

I couldn't get the 5% MPP discount to stack - adding the coupon simply displaced the 10%OFFMONITOR coupon and left me with only a 5% discount.

I've had mine for 6 months and it's been used continuously the entire time. One of the best monitors I've ever owned. When I originally got it, the base plate was cracked. Dell sent out an new monitor within days. Be warned that the box it comes in is huge. You will need two people to safely move it.

What do you guys think of the Alienware 34 Curved Monitor - AW3418DW alternative ?

https://www.dell.com/en-ca/member/shop/ ... ccessories

It's 1349.99$ -10%offmonitor code - 10% ebates = 1275$ QC tax inc. (14.14975%)

Here's the link comparing both monitors : https://www.displayspecifications.com/e ... /51ad29dbb

EDIT : not shown on the comparison is the refresh rate, it's 60Hz vs 100Hz (120Hz with OC). The main difference is definitely the response time, input lag and refresh rate. Does it justify the 500$ difference ?

Why do you say that? I bought the LG and think it's a fantastic monitor so far. No regrets. I've used it mainly for browsing, spreadsheet work, and editing photos through Lightroom. I'm happy to save the extra $300 and buy something else with that extra $$$

Which LG deal is that for $500? I'm actually trying to find it in expired deals. If that LG deal was for the same ultra wide resolution (3440x1440), I would just wait for the next sale, but I think it is 2560x1080 (in which case, I would just buy this one now). Anyone know? What was the model number of the LG and price of the sale?

It was the LG 34UM88c-P. Canada Computers had it listed for $499.99. I pricematched them with Memory Express and got an additional $15 off.

Thanks. Can't believe I missed that deal. I'll wait and hope another sale comes soon around that price. (Similar specs. I guess it comes down to curve or not and I don't prefer one over the other.)

I have both the u3415w and the LG. They are both excellent monitors, with the Dell have significantly more accurate colours straight from the factory. You cannot go wrong with either one.
