Pretty good deal, I picked one up on black Friday for $2185,.with 12% cash back from rakuten so another $262 back.
Battery life isn't the best, but otherwise very happy with it overall.

Great price if you can stack 10% unidays and ebates.

I would have bought if I didn’t have my current Asus G15 2021 edition.

If I could sell my xps 15 9560 for a decent price I'd scoop this up. This is a nice looking laptop

I have the exact same laptop since 2017. It's still going strong! Just battery is probably the somewhat limiting factor. May get it replaced to make it feel sort of brand new again. I figure I'll keep using it as long as possible until it starts getting troublesome and then make the upgrade.

For an extra $50, you can get the 3050 ti instead of the stock 3050.

And extra $100 would get another 16GB ram. Not bad.

Zephyrus. Out side of a few bugs here and there, it's the best overall laptop I've ever owned.

Are you talking about this thread? I missed out because... "Only the first 5,000 cards to be successfully registered are eligible for the offer.".

As an aside can you suggest the best system for getting started with multiple VMs? I need to start with this configuration for work but they provide no IT support for it.

Without knowing what you'll be running on the VMs, it's a difficult question to answer. Not wanting to hijack the thread, I'm using a 2 year old Latitude with a 4-core i7 (10510U) and 32GB of ram which I was planning to replace in May. So far it was able to handle everything I had to run in the past 2 years. I work with multiple clients, so it's been an mix of WMware and Hyper-V, Docker & k8s, Windows & Linux VMs. I'm hoping this 11th Gen, 8 core i7 will be able to pick up from the Latitude and keep going for two years. I may have to upgrade to 64GB of ram at some point.

With laptops, it's a constant compromise... One day I hope to get a desktop to run all the VMs I need.

Like how bad? Thats a big factor for me, would it last at least 6-8 hours running just movies?

Looking to replace my Dell 15” Latitude 5 yrs old. Screen hinge broke on one side a year ago and I have to very carefully open and close it without making it worst. After searching online, it was a common issue across all Dell laptops. How’s the build quality for this one? And how does it compare with the Apple M1 MacBooks?
