Like I said, I would pay around 350$ for VA and around 450$ for IPS with similar specs ranging from 27" to 32" monitors, and this pops up almost every day around here. You can just search for IPS monitors to confirm it, this isn't even a controversial statement. I keep watch for these items often enough to know what a deal is on them. Also, like many people, curved is a con in my book not a pro for my needs.
You're comparing apples to oranges. 27" is not 32". You cannot find a 32" IPS 1440p 144+hz monitor for sub $500. They barely exist and only started appearing recently.

You say you can just search for IPS monitors to confirm it. Confirm what? What deals are you referring to that are for similar specs? You're all over the place. That's not a controversial statement.

To make this short, the broader point is, if you're already spending 400$ for a VA monitor, making the jump to IPS @ 500$ for 32", 450$ for 29" and 400$ for 27" is a decision I would make and suggest to anyone 100% of the time. Again because you're already spending several hundreds for an item that you'll probably use for the next 8-10 years.

2k is closer to 1080p, which would be low. 1440p at 32 inch is great, 4k for higher.

For gaming, there are reasons to go VA anyway. If you need the most accurate colors, ips.

Once you see *4k, trust, 1440p seems low

At 32 inches and a normal viewing distance, it’s barely noticeable to me. And I have 20/15 vision.
