Thank you OP
Ordered 15 inch combined with 10% welcome code + 10 % unidays code = 686.46 - 100 gift card - 12 % Ebates = approx 530 in Ontario assuming eabtes will come through.
Perkopolis 5% code could not be combined so I used two 10% codes instead.

Edit: Also signed for Dell Rewards which will give ~ $ 20 towards future purchase

So I have a dilemma. This 14" Intel system costs exactly the same as a 15" Ryzen 7 system. Only difference is the Ryzen 7 doesn't come with a $100 VISA gift card but I do get dual channel RAM. Which one should I get?! I do play my games but would like my portability. If the Ryzen 5 I created a thread for last night as still on sale, it would be a no brainer since it's cheaper.

Also Dell Unidays code: 2MWFHBTWPG42JL

I'll be curious to see what upgrades people choose for the RAM and SSD. Since there are probably a lot of us please share if you have any good ideas or spot any killer deals.

Thank you so much geokilla. I didn't even need this laptop but with your code, the subtotal price was $591. If you subtract the $100 card and 12% ebates, this deal is extremely hot.

Is this warm for a G3?

i5 - 9300H, 1660ti max-q 6gb, 8gb ram, 512gb ssd

Total works out to be $1399.99 - 10% unidays - 10% welcome = $1270 - $150 prepaid visa - $127 10% ebates = $993

EDIT: Forgot ebates 10%

I'd like a unidays code if anyone has one.. I tried to get my own through the app but their verification is too good (i.e. requires more than a student email address)

Ebates went back to 10% right at midnight, wondering since I clicked on it before midnight if I'd get 10 or 12

Great deal, thanks OP! Ordered one!

Little off topic but, our school + work friend groups' experience with Ebates.CA's and it's team for cashback is generally not good (Despite that all of their T&C were religiously followed). Ebates.CA is like hit or miss - specifically, if cashback amount is >$30.00. After eligible purchase, cashback amount does appear in ebate.CA account, but evetually not paid... We are good with Ebates.COM and other cashback sites for their commitment and payouts.

For eg:
- Eligible to receive $35.00+ for purchase made from Ebates.ca -> Amazon.ca on April 03, 2019 (No return/exchange made). Until early this week, Ebates.CA's account kept showing payout date as Aug 16, 2019 for $35.00+... Still, not paid..... so, checked Ebates.ca account, it NOW shows payout date as Nov 16 2019!! (Ebates.ca is in money crunch OR wants to make some interest for making late cashout payment lol).
- Same incidence with a random colleague's ebate.ca account.

Therefore, keeping fingers crossed for around $60 Ebates.ca cashback for this order. Anyways, even without ebates.CA; the deal seems promising to me!

Thanks again, OP!

Does anyone know if you can stack 3 codes?

Unidays
Email
AND
$25OFF$700PC

I just placed order with Unidays and Email, but just found the $25OFF$700PC now, so i'm not sure if it stacks
No, couldn't do all three codes.
Using Email and UniDays is the best combination.

You got it.

Am super tempted to buy this but from everything I'm reading this laptop (and the Inspiron 15) has terrible battery life (2-3 hours max under minimal load)

I intend to use this for work but with such a poor battery life, I'm not sure if it'll suffice :(

Can anyone who has experience with this laptop chime in on this please? Thanks!

Did you do the math wrong or did I? I get:
1399.99 - 10% - 10% = 1133.99 - $150 Visa = $983 - 136.07 12% ebates = 846.93 plus taxes.

I actually had that exact notebook on order but I decided to cancel it in favor of the G7 15"

$1949 - 10% unidays - 10% welcome = 1579.49 - $200 visa = $1379.49 - 12% ebates $189.94 = 1189.55

vs the G3, CPU for $100. I'll call 256GB+1TB vs 512GB a wash. 16GB of RAM $100. Recoup let's say $50 for the current 2x4 kit.
Total difference is $250 just for difference in parts. The price difference between the 2 units is $342.62 or $92 after factoring in the above.

Only down side is that it has a Killer NIC for Ethernet. I'm not sure what I hate more: Realtek or Killer.
Also comes with a Killer WIFI but I think the G3 does as well, so both will have to be pulled in favor of an Intel.

If you don't need a better CPU or 16GB, the G3 might work well enough for you.
Oddly enough I might actually pull the 16GB and put in 32GB then sell the 16GB.
SSD and HDD are both coming out too to be replaced with something bigger.

Sorry I must have copied it wrong. The total for me shows $1270.07 after the two 10% codes and the tax. Ebates for me shows 10% at the moment so it's $127, working out to be $1270 - $150 prepaid - $127 = $993.

Edit: G7 you mentioned is $1,579 before tax (after two 10% codes), working out to be $1,769 - $200 prepaid - $177 ebates = $1,392

Ah, I didn't include tax for any of the calculations above since we're in Vancouver, but everyone else is in the center of the universe.
I also get $1270.07 - $150 = $1120.07 - 10% ebates $127 = $993

Since you're in Vancouver too, here's the G7 again:

1949.99 - 10% -10% = 1579.5 + 12% tax = 1769.04 - $200 Visa = $1569.04 - 10% ebates $176.904 = 1392.14 tax in.
$400 difference is a bit harder pill to swallow, depending on how much you value the CPU.
Ebates for me shows 10% at the moment

Oh wow am I glad I ordered this afternoon. It was 12% but it looks like it's back to 10% now.
