Sorry I must have copied it wrong. The total for me shows $1270.07 after the two 10% codes and the tax.
Ah, I didn't include tax for any of the calculations above since we're in Vancouver, but everyone else is in the center of the universe.
I also get $1270.07 - $150 = $1120.07 - 10% ebates $127 = $993

Since you're in Vancouver too, here's the G7 again:

1949.99 - 10% -10% = 1579.5 + 12% tax = 1769.04 - $200 Visa = $1569.04 - 10% ebates $176.904 = 1392.14 tax in.
$400 difference is a bit harder pill to swallow, depending on how much you value the CPU.
Ebates for me shows 10% at the moment

Oh wow am I glad I ordered this afternoon. It was 12% but it looks like it's back to 10% now.

Looks like the Core i3 is on sale as well now. Add 4GB of RAM for dual channel and it'll be a solid performer for everyday office use. Just keep in mind the Core i3 doesn't qualify for a $100 gift card.

I just found the Unidays code not stackable with the welcome code any more. Anyone else have the same issue?

I didn't have a Unidays code but the welcome code says not stackable now so I just ordered with that

Can someone who owns this laptop do me a favour and test the screen on this site to see if it has PWM or not at one of the sites below? I'm looking for a laptop that does not have PWM. So you would turn down the brightness and see if the lines that go across the screen stay smooth or if it turns choppy. I was looking at the Lenovo Thinkbook 14s on sale for $820 with FNDEPP with the same specs (plus a slightly better GPU and a metal body) but this is $200 less so a better deal imo.

I'll be curious to see what upgrades people choose for the RAM and SSD. Since there are probably a lot of us please share if you have any good ideas or spot any killer deals.
I want to know too. I'm definitely going to add more RAM and SSD. I thought the 8GB was soldered on to the motherboard, but I'm getting the impression now that it's removable. So if that's the case, 32GB of RAM and 2TB SSD?

The only thing that I'm dying to know right now is the maximum resolution for video output. At 1080p, I might even return the laptop. I plan to use this more like a desktop than a laptop which is why I don't care about the screen, weight, or the battery life. I know I could build a desktop, but the situation requires a computer that takes up the least amount of space. Plus the price was cheap.

Bought this laptop for my brother about 1.5 months ago with the exact same specs. He is happy with it.

After 10% discount code from Unidays, I paid Dell $701.99 before tax
-$100 Amex rebate
-$100 prepaid Visa
-$56.16 eBates (8% at that time, and finallllllly posted last week)
Total = $445.83 before tax

Including tax (12% BC), my total was $530.07

Note: The prepaid Visa card is online and issued via myvirtualprepaid.com

EDIT: Fixed some math
Since you have the machine and the rest of us are waiting for Dell to ship out the laptop, can you find out the maximum resolution for video output?

Why not just call Dell? I found their customer service pretty helpful yesterday.

Wonderful deal, OP! Amazing find!

Agree, Newadam.

It happended with me in earlier purchase from Dell.ca in Dec 2018. Ebates.CA never paid cashback of litte over 40.00. They kept extending cashback payout date from Feb 16 2019 to May 16 2019 to Nov 16 2019. After fus with (DEAF) customer care of Ebates.ca, eventually they removed cashback from account stating I used dell's email discount of 10% with the order. Therefore, cashback is not payable. (Really??!! Then, why did you kept cashback amount in my account at all for almost 8 months??!!).

Actually, it should be like "Once Ebates.ca posts cashback account in one's account, it MUST be paid (unless, the item has been returned/exchanged or any confirmed fraudulent activity)." It's like "Promise to Pay".

Great deal, thanks OP! Ordered one!

Little off topic but, our school + work friend groups' experience with Ebates.CA's and it's team for cashback is generally not good (Despite that all of their T&C were religiously followed). Ebates.CA is like hit or miss - specifically, if cashback amount is >$30.00. After eligible purchase, cashback amount does appear in ebate.CA account, but evetually not paid... We are good with Ebates.COM and other cashback sites for their commitment and payouts.

For eg:
- Eligible to receive $35.00+ for purchase made from Ebates.ca -> Amazon.ca on April 03, 2019 (No return/exchange made). Until early this week, Ebates.CA's account kept showing payout date as Aug 16, 2019 for $35.00+... Still, not paid..... so, checked Ebates.ca account, it NOW shows payout date as Nov 16 2019!! (Ebates.ca is in money crunch OR wants to make some interest for making late cashout payment lol).
- Same incidence with a random colleague's ebate.ca account.

Therefore, keeping fingers crossed for around $60 Ebates.ca cashback for this order. Anyways, even without ebates.CA; the deal seems promising to me!

Thanks again, OP!
