Would like to know about HD upgrade too.
256GB seems small to me. Can someone pl confirm if HD can be easily upgraded?

Thanks

Thanks OP! Was able to stack the 10% newsletter code with the Perkopolis EPP code (thx Fido Xtra). The latter came out to about 5%. EBates 10% came out to $62, I guess 10% on the pre-tax total. With the Visa prepaid card it should be about $555 all in.

Just couldn't pull the trigger without going to the store to see the build quality first. However can confirm that going all the way to checkout that the Perkopolis code stacks and knocked the checkout price down from $656 to $624 (pre-ebates, pre-tax and pre-pre-paid visa) total.

Based on what I've seen there's actually another open bay for a hard drive, so you can add an additional one. And a slot for another stick of RAM.

And if anyone can share the Perkopolis code, that would be great!

I signed up at 8am this morning and got it after an hour or so. It's definitely not immediate.

imho forget 17" units unless for gaming, 13.3 &14" are perfect size, much easier for transport and home use. I only want that size, I now find 15.6 too big, and the 13/14 usually are always more costly. This is a good deal. I scored a 7th Gen i7 7500u 5378 Dell 2-1 like new off CL for $300, excellent machine no complaints at all:)

Thanks, OP, and everyone who contributed to this thread.

Went to this Dell MPP website and punched in my work email address, where I received additional coupon codes. I was able to apply a 5% off code that stacked. So my total charge was $705 (ON taxes), which should come down to $542 when you include the $100 VISA and 10% ($62, pre-tax in-cart price) E-bates.

If anyone can use it, here's a 2% off code that came with the MPP email that I won't use: $55PMJ9MMTG$H0 (stacks with this deal).
And this one should be 10% off $1199: 41BV20SH70VV?D

Ethernet? Not as much. I'll complain about a Realtek but still use it.

Also I'm on chat right now. Intel is confirmed for Wifi.
I might pull the trigger. I hate you OP.
Here are the order details on the wifi card: Intel Wireless 9462AC Card (802.11ac + Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Band 2.4&5 GHz, MU-MIMO/80Mhz, 1x1)

Tried the Perkopolis, and Dell MPP codes, and I guess they don't stack... was only able to use one... even the 2% off I got didn't work
However the Perkopolis stacked with the 10% email offer so it's an additional 5% off too (same as Dell MPP)...
Got one for $699.04 after tax... should get $100 visa and ebates, which will probably make it around $530 or less depending on how ebates computes the 10% cash back
Will it be on the original $999 price of the laptop or the $729 sale price? or the after discounted price?
