no FHD, and only 128gb ssd for the first one. If you're not gaming, the Costco deal is much better, CPU difference is negligible.

No for either. I wouldn't bother unless they were $500 for both.

If you like large fonts like my dad then I would suggest the Dell laptop because of the lower resolution (yes, I know you can just change the font size in Windows 10 but it could be easier to just get the lower resolution laptop and call it a day). Also, the keyboard on the Dell laptop is an English keyboard and not a bilingual keyboard if that matters to you. That's a pretty big plus in my books. You would probably have to wait about 2 weeks or so before the Dell laptop gets to you. It's shipping from the US.

I don't know anything about AMD CPU's so I can't compare the 2 but it seems like the Costco HP laptop is the better deal because of the size of the SSD and the resolution. I absolutely hate bilingual keyboards though. I can't get used to them but that's a personal preference.

Skip the 3000 series laptop. The screen is horrible.
Public Mobile customer:
Line 1: $45 - $15 = $30 / 20GB
Line 2: $45 - $5 = $40 / 20GB
Line 3: $45 - $3 = $42 / 20GB
Line 4: $25 - $8 = $17 / 1GB
Line 5: $15 - $6 = $9 / 0.25GB

Screen definitely kills it. Otherwise it's decent.

OP,

This should not be under "Hot Deal" you're merely asking for advice in choosing....

Go Costco strictly based on warranty. Wait if you can for Back To School 4-6wk from now.

Electric Light Bulb That is good advice. I am having problems with dell warranty issues currently and they have poor customer service. I got passed around for 2 hours from one department to another and no resolution. No one can help me. Tech sends me to another tech to sends me to warranty who sends me to another warranty and it's back to tech again. Dell is a nightmare to deal with if any issues arise.
