I've been keeping an eye out for a sub $700 laptop with a touch screen. This one seems to have pretty good specs. Has a numpad which I also like.

As most mainstream users don’t know the difference, optane memory is not real memory as we know it, RAM, please advertise specs with actual RAM, e.g. 12 GB in this case. Some may find optane is a good addition and useful to speed up your repeated tasks but when you need REAL RAM memory for extensive computing works, don't count on optane.
This is a reasonable PC BTW.

You're right regarding optane. I just copy pasted the Costco product title.

This laptop is part of Costco flyer for this week. $200 off original price.
In store, if available, it would be $10 cheaper.

I am still upset when I missed the Dell deal with %15 ebates and $100 Visa card two weeks ago on a similar laptop. This is a reasonably good deal but not close to that one.

It may be 16 GB Optane, but 12 GB RAM is nothing to sniff at. Should meet most users' needs.

Wonder if I should return my Lenovo and pay $70 more for this (all in).

Pretty much the same specs except an extra 4GB memory (12 vs. 8) plus Costco's warranty.

This is an IPS screen I'm assuming?
