[Dell] Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1, i7-1165G7, 16GB, 512GB, 15.6" FHD 100% sRGB, $990 after code

Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1, i7-1165G7, 16GB, 512GB, 15.6" FHD 100% sRGB, $990 after 10% off Unidays or Dell Newsletter Signup code

Display colour accuracy is good: 100% sRGB.

Port selection is excellent:
2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
1 Thunderbolt™ 4 (Type-C®) port with PowerShare and DisplayPort™
1 headset (headphone and microphone combo) port
1 HDMI 2.0 port
1 microSD-card slot

Weight is about 4.2 lb, thus the 2-in-1 form probably is not very useful.

That's i5 model. CPU and iGPU are not as good as i7 model.

Recommend this or the ThinkBook "14p" Gen 2?
At $1095 you get AMD Ryzen 5 5600H , 14" 300 nits, 16GB ram, 512 PCle SSD

Not sure 5600H/5800H is suitable for a thin & light laptop: there could be issues with thermal management and battery life. I would recommend to get a ThinkPad with 5650U/5850U instead.

I7 on Whiskey , Tiger lake CPUs have been performing worse than their i5 counterparts. It actually make sense to buy i5.
