[Dell] Inspiron Desktop 3668 $523 8GB R 1TB 7200rpm 7th Generation Intel i5-7400

I have been looking for desktop for little while primary purpose is Plex server with pre existing external 8 tb usb 3 drive. Had been running on laptop but need to move to something with a little more CPU. This is best price I have seen and with Perkopolis additional 5% off sales price brought regular price 838.99 down to 522.99, along with ebates 2% - $10.50

EDIT: Because the link broke the hyperlinking.

How about this $399

9304 vs 7415 CPU performance

For some reason Refurbio links don't work:

That's a more apt comparison. The SFF unfortunately limits you to a single 3.5" HDD (lacks a 2.5" HDD slot I thought it had), but it appears the Inspiron 3668 isn't a lot better (1x 3.5" HDD, 2x 2.5" HDD). Surprising to see a midtower with that little expandibility for storage.

EDIT: Thought the M92 had room for an extra 2.5" like a lot of other (read: Dell) SFF desktops. Apparently not only no space, but only a single SATA port, to boot!

Decent price. Would prefer $500 to be hot. Speaking of price put it in title.

yes went and searched Referbio Lenovo M92 SFF i7 3770 3.4ghz 8GB Ram 1TB HDD Win 10 Pro WIFI as link did not work. I see this for $399 and higher CPU performance (what I am looking for) the shipping adds another $15, it would save me $107 . Have you dealt with this company, what type of warranty comes with computers.

If you are looking at a i7-3770, maybe also consider this one:

I wouldn't use them without knowing which is their power supply; also a bit hard to find info on their mother board.

annoys me a bit that they don't have HDMI - I was looking for something cheap (running windows) to keep on the living room and watch stuff :(

I never realized how Dell displays their reviews on their website. This has an overall 4/5 stars, but they don't list their reviews in chronological order. The dates are all mixed. I clicked on Load More Reviews 40+ times and all I've seen are 5 star reviews, that is sneaky af. I'm actually quite disappointed/pissed at Dell for doing that, they should post them in order and not just show the best ones first.

Excuse my ignorance, but does this tower mean it is WIFI capable? or is the keyboard and mouse WIFI?

Bought two laptops and both have been fine after two years.

They show 1 year minimum warranty on their front page.

You don't need to spend this much money on a Plex Server. Way overkill unless you are planning to stream to more than 5 clients at once. If this is a single purpose Plex server, I highly recommend you look at FreeNas with the Plex plugin. This will maximize your hardware resources.
