Comments:
1. CPU is strong (passmark 21881)
2. GPU is adequate for a non-gaming laptop (display is only 60Hz).
3. Display is very good: 16.0-inch 16:10 3K (3072 x 1920) IPS AG Non-Touch, 300nits, 100% sRGB
4. Plenty of ports, including HDMI 2.0 and Thunderbolt 4.
5. Battery is big (86WHr)
6. Build quality and material are good.
7. Cooling might be a concern given such high-power CPU and GPU.

This laptop may be good for heavy-duty use cases such as video editing, CAD, etc.

Rakuten cashback is applicable.

I find 15.6 inch too small. No idea how a 16 inch with 3:2 aspect ratio compares to a regular 15.6 inch laptop. I had a 17.3 inch non-gaming laptop. It was awesome for content consumption.

This is 16:10, so not as square as 3:2. Same as the most recent XPS models and the MacBook Pro 16".

Works for me, just tried it with a newly generated code (that I'll use later).

Try the PPI calculator: https://www.sven.de/dpi/

It will give you the height, width, and area, in inches and cm, for different sizes and aspect ratios. This 16" display has an area of 115.06 in² compared to 103.99 in² for a 15.6" display and 127.89 in² for a 17.3" display in the common 16:9 aspect ratio.

Thanks bro. Awesome info. Definitely a 17.3 is all the way to go.

Witcher 3 at 1080 Ultra 50+ FPS seems OK to me for a non gaming laptop.

RTX 3050 is not a 2060 or even 1660 Ti killer, but lower watts I think.

Also, Allen Ngo at NBR is kind of a stupid reviewer. This is not gaming computer, yet his biggest beef is that it is not a gaming computer.

A laptop with a 3k 3:2 screen, 10 hour battery, that doesn't make you look like a neon circus clown when you take it out of your bag and upgradability is a good thing. Not everyone is a Monster chugging esport wannabe.

Yes, just order through Rakuten and when in cart apply the 10% signup code.

Anyone had this swapped to 2280 ssd? Tried installing sn550 but that 2230 mount seems to bend the full size 2280.
