Zero issues with my 3 M5 pucks and I stream high bitrate 4K Dolby Vision over the internet on a Plex Server.

Great price for the 3 pack M5

Had TP-Link mesh for over a year, solid connection, zero reboots.

I have 4 units of the Deco M5 - and zero motivation to upgrade to WiFi6 because it works so well. Plus the Admin tools on the app are top notch.

Most reviews disagree with you. I have a mesh router (not even a great one for that matter) and I disagree with you. Time to get some new knowledgeable friends.

For everyone considering a mesh router, it’s great for larger houses and click on the above Amazon link for hundreds of reviews.

Having a 2-dr Accord Coupe makes it harder for him to have a larger number of friends willing to struggle to get in the back, so he doesn't get as much feedback on mesh routers.
:D

Used to have two Deco M5s and they worked great. Nothing wrong with it other than their generous privacy policy which allows sharing information with the CCP.

I ended up switching to a much more powerful Aimesh setup with a pair of cheap AC66UB1 routers. Would highly recommend going with an Aimesh setup instead for those who are a bit tech savvy

Not everyone has the time or will to fiddle with other access points that are available on the market and these TP Link Deco M4/M5 provide more than enough speed and reliability for 95% of users. If you're in that 5% group you would know.

TP-Link Deco M9 Plus AC2200 Tri-Band (Pack of 2) is selling for the same price:

How would you compare this to the Eero (wifi 5) version. I need more speed.

Eero is dual band. Deco M9 Plus is tri-bands, which "provide maximum output of 2,134 Mbps using one as a dedicated backhaul so the available bands connect to wireless devices at the fastest lane possible."

This tri-band probably will make a difference on the speed when your home WiFi network has very heavy traffic.

I have this with a wired backhaul on 2 unit and 1 on wireless. Absolutely no issues with it and wifi stability has significantly improved over my old Archer C7 router.

Bought a Deco X60 3 pack. It was pretty expensive retail at the beginning of the pandemic, but it's rock solid everywhere and I have one of the PC's plugged into a unit, which gets the full speed of the backchannel and it's great. I've never had to reboot any of the units.

Do these replace my router or do they use it? Mine is starting to malfunction lately.

Ditto. I’ve got three running all on wired backhaul. Super impressed with how they simultaneously handled two kids in virtual school, and two parents on Teams calls, plus the kids sneaking YouTube/Netflix while in virtual school when we weren’t watching Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes

Well said. And most APs don’t even offer proper throughout.

I switched to velop mesh from AP and have solid coverage everywhere
