[Dell] U3415W UltraSharp $838

Base price $999 but if you go through this link http://configure.dell.com/dellstore/con ... U3415W_R_1 it's $950.

Add 10%OFFMONITOR and 2% ebates = $838.

If you plan on buying from Dell again within 3 months, the Dell Advantage gives back 5% as a gift voucher. Not sure if that's pre-tax or after-tax but it's about another $43 - $49.

Awesome monitor, been using it for almost a year. Easily over clockable to 80hz too.

Can entirely vouch for this. I kept mine at 60ghz, have you overclocked yours? I'm worried that it might damage it.

Overclocking aside, the monitor is worth every penny. I was worried about backlight bleed. There's a tiny tiny bit (common on IPS) but nothing you'll ever notice. Dell has a great support in case anything is damaged.

Get it and don't look back.

The Dell Display Manager (DDM) software takes care of all of this for you. You can set your own presents and it works really intuitively.

Not true. If you don't want to buy a 1000$ graphics card this monitor is great.
I have myself bought this monitor for gamming because I don't have the space for two monitors and only have a GTX 970. I can say it is perfect for my need.
Only down side is maybe the lack of support for games in UltraWide. Sometimes you must do some werid twist like for DarkSouls 3.
Oh and the speakers are weak on that monitor (no suprise there)

You don't notice the curve in front of it at all.

It's been at that price point since forever and there's always a 10% off coupon available.

I suggest waiting for the next 13-15% through ebates

I paid mine the following :

999 - 10% - 5% EDU = 850$ with 15% ebates = 722.5$ but you pay taxes on 850$.

You also get the 5% giftcard 30 days later

I'm wondering how well this'll pair with my samsung 28" 4k as a second monitor... gonna have to measure on my desk to see if it's just too big.

Filling my duty to post.

I purchased this a few months ago during the ebates 13% and 10%monitor off deal. Had to do it twice because ebates messed up the first time and dell customer service sucks (on the bright side I was given two dell gift cards).

I was considering the LG 34UM94-P 34" flat monitor before because I use two 29" versions at work. I absolutely love the curve on it.

Gaming wise I've tried it with payday 2, fallout 4, csgo and civ 5. The Boston wasteland is absolutely breathtaking. I can't speak about latency because I'm not that try hard at CS.

I'm very happy I chose it over the LG. The build quality and aesthetics are expectedly better. It also doesn't suffer the crazy brightness of the LG.

If you have perks at work, the price is 902 and you can stack 2 coupons to go to 771 plus tax.
