[Dell] (WORK FROM HOME) DELL mini desktop computers 30%+OFF [updated]

update: previous shows the US website, similar deals in CA store.
CA store not valid with the SAVE50 code, but seems the discount is quite consistent based on the 'OptiPlex 3070 Micro' I compared.

Dell has its Home office desktop for sale (30% OFF )
perfect for work from home. I choose its highest end model for the "OptiPlex 3070 Micro", the final price is
$699. Best deal I see till now for a decent performance computer for some real work at home during this pandemic.

OptiPlex 3070 Micro
$1,211.61 $699.00
Intel® Core™ i5-9500T
Windows 10 Pro 64bit English
4GB 1X4GB 2666MHz DDR4 Memory
2.5" 500GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Disk Drive

I can't believe manufacturers offer ANY PC with 4GB RAM, let alone a business PC. Or that some moron middle manager leases them with that config.
Whenever someone asks a question that starts with "Why do they..." or "Why don't they...", the answer is always a) money, b) stupidity, or c) both.

"The coupon code entered is invalid. Please check the code to ensure that it was entered correctly"
"extra $50 saving" doesn't work in Canadian website.

If you have $$$ then obviously you can pay for a true Dell like Precision . And add a 16G RAM for $50 from amazon can make this mini desktop a decent computer for 90% of us. I mean for work, if you are talking about those dude who need a fancy/colorful GAME computer with liquid cooling system then we may not talk about the same thing

Otherwise, very curious why not getting DELL for work-from-home? Most of desktops at my workplace are Dell, they are pretty good in my impression.

Just leave it packed in the box and unplug/run with it when you finally do a runner

those are really popular in kiosk setups, as well as places that need both kiosk and regular desktops from a platform management perspective.

What specs would you recommend for a 9th gen Coffee Lake refresh mini-ITX build that's $700?
