10700 (not K version, possibly poor cooling)... 16Gb Ram... 512Gb ssd,...
but 3070!

Any opinions?
Idk but if youre gonna buy that, buy this instead https://deals.dell.com/en-ca/productdetail/6yfj

as far as I can tell same thing but with a 1tb ssd instead of 512, and has the rtx 3070 as well. find a unidays coupon for 10% and 10% rakuten cashback and youre looking at around 1810$ taxes in (at a 15% tax rate).

It's doorbuster, can't apply 10% uni or new client code...good suggestion though...also x8gn need to be switched...

as pointed out in other threads, may drawbacks would be the 3070 are OEM versions, which may they have poor cooling and loud fans compared to retail versions. And the system has only 500W PSU which is just enough, with not much room for growth. Also system cooling is probably very basic, using stock Intel 10700 cooler likely.

Basically, it's good enough, and will be usable. Just don't expect it to be cool or quiet.

Make sure you select 2x8GB RAM configuration for optimum speed.
Rich or poor, paying full price for anything is for suckers. Be an informed purchaser by searching RFD for the all-time-low price.
