I know there is no time machine but I thought I share the configuration I bought in late August as a reference. At that time they were running rakutan at 15% I think and they also had the $250 visa card offer. Maybe lookout for these promotions coming back during BF.

My build had: $1,035 after tax and all rebates.
* i7-9700
* GTX 1660 Ti 6GB
* M.2 256GB PCIe x4 SSD + 2TB 7200 rpm Hard Drive
* 8GB 1x8GB DDR4 2666MHz

8GB is a little less for such a configuration, but price is great.

Agreed. I bought another 8GB and also changed the M.2 to 1tb. That added just over $200 more.

The specs for this deal is
  • 9th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 9700 (8-Core, 12MB Cache, up to 4.7GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology)
  • Windows 10 Home, 64-bit, English
  • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2060 6GB GDDR6
  • 32GB DDR4 at 2666MHz; up to 64GB (Additional memory sold separately)
  • 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
I also put in a 50$ coupon code and the price comes . When you use honey chrome addin, it tries to put in all coupons and the 50$ coupon worked.

Not sure if I should still buy.. total comes to 1749+tax for this spec... Lenovo, HP and ASUS cant match price for this configuration. SSD seems to be the one jacking up the price i guess.

I am looking at This G5 Desktop
Price will be $1250+ tax (After $50 Coupon). Does this seem decent price for the specs:
  • 9th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 9700 (8-Core, 12MB Cache, up to 4.7GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology)
  • Windows 10 Home, 64-bit, English
  • NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB GDDR6
  • 16GB DDR4 at 2666MHz; up to 64GB
  • 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD (Boot) + 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s

If you sign up with Dell you will get a 10% off coupon in the mail, so you would save another $180 instead of $50, it should work on just about any system. This is still overpriced for the specs even with another 10% off though, imo.
