I bought a refurbished dell laptop about 6 months ago. Very happy with the purchase. It was graded as a B, but only had some minor scratches on the outside.

I need another one for work, but it needs to be touch screen, and ideally 1080p. So gotta pass on this one... but a pretty good price for anyone needing a basic computer. I doubt you could find anything better for cheaper.

@mikka2017 - Come on now - laptops are designed to be small. For most, even 15" would be too big or maybe the max. Otherwise, get a desktop.

That's a pretty solid deal. You get a standard 100 day warranty period or can extend it to one year for $49. The only thing I'm worried about is the battery. It's considered "tested/functional" so I wonder what the battery life is like.

Keep in mind the laptop is probably a bit heavy at over 5lbs. Review for similar model at Notebook Check.

Most have not noticed much of a difference between A & B. Maybe an extra scratch on the outside casing.

Many people have reported short battery life after a few months. That is the nature of a used laptop. But this is a very popular model and batteries can be found on Amazon, among others, for reasonable price.

I was about to pull the trigger on a Grade A but if there isn't much of a difference, I may get a Grade B in this case.

Edit: Pulled the triggered on a Grade B after all. Let's see! I also chose Express shipping and it says "Purolator Express" which after a quick google may deliver on Saturdays. :) It'd be crazy to have it the next day. Do they usually ship fast?
