I think Orpheus must be looking at USD. The lowest fare YVR to HKG I could find was CAD$609 on Delta.com or CAD$600 on Expedia.ca (no 24-hr cancellation though).

Since its an indirect flight, do u have to claim the baggage and recheck in for the next flight to hkg?

If you're traveling from YYZ you do not. They pre-screen you before you enter the US > HK

On the way back you will have re-check your bags at the first point of entry to the US, from what I've been told.
