Putty knife (plastic for $99c) and a small tube of polyfilla (less than $5)
get it smooth and let it dry
Sand it or use a wet sponge to smooth it
Smear some more of whatever else is on the wall and you don't even have to paint it. :(

buy some puddy and put alot more then you need in the crack . after it dries you can just sand it down till its level with the wall and you should be done.

Remember to prime the spot before you re-paint it. The polyfilla will suck up paint and make your paint job miserable if you don't put a primer on.

Youtube has videos on how to fix drywall. But the process is simple since the dent doesn't look deep.

1. Fill with polyfill
2. Wait to dry (4-8 hours+)
3. Sand
4. Thin layer of polyfill, make sure super smooth
5. Sand
6. Repeat Polyfill/sand if necessary
7. Paint

If the gouge is better than the photos make it look, you may need some fiberglass mesh tape to put on top of the hole to provide the compound some backing.

After repairing some holes, I realized all it takes is a lot of paitence.
