"This transition to self-manufacturing took place over the next several years, and in the spring of 2007, when manufacturing regulations in China reformed to allow foreign investors to establish wholly owned enterprises, they broke ground on their first fully owned factory. A crucial step, this allowed priMED to transition away from merely being a sourcing “middleman,” to becoming a company in full control of its product and destiny."

On their pre-COVID box, mdi Europa GmbH’s information was also printed on the box, probably that is why ppl think pri-med is also made in Germany.

On the pre-refresh boxes, the "made in" is printed at the bottom of the box.

Just wanted to say thanks! This one is the best I’ve tried so far, I thought the thinka was good but this one is better, the nose bar is great very solid and sturdy works well with my glasses too albeit not anti fog

I also got a box of JHJ for the same price, quality is pretty much the same, but they are made in Canada.
However there is nothing printed on the box that mentioned they are ASTM level 3, they only said it on their website.
I included photos of the masks. The top one is from JHJ, the middle one is Pri-med from Staples and the last one is the Pri-med I got in March.
Many thanks for the info.

Color changes aside, do you see any visible quality differences between the middle one and last one by PriMED?

I found the pre-COVID PriMed had a smoother/silkier exterior than the post-COVID ones. However, that would be nitpicking as it does not affect the quality of the masks.

The bottom one Is thicker and has another blue strip on top. I think it is for anti fog. Even the box is 20% bigger.

Not only Pri-med, I found pre-COVID Medicom’s masks are thicker too.

They are technically two different lines of product (standard vs. anti-fog).
I asked PriMed and they have indicated the anti-fog version is not being made.

It is only my thought. Because there is an extra strip, maybe it is for anti fog, maybe not.
Nothing was mentioned on the box about anti fog.
So not sure are they are different lines or just modified version.

It's literally written on the box from the image you posted .... "Procedure Mask, Ear Loop, ANTI-FOG, Indigo".
You can see the post-rebranding the numerous types of masks they had https://s21107.pcdn.co/wp-content/uploa ... Letter.pdf

I do not think your masks still have a good seal after using so many times. If you cannot find any N95, try this:
www.fixthemask.com
with an ASTM level 1-2-3 mask.

You can find rubber sheets at Grainger, and pick-up at one of their branches to save shipping costs. I ordered mine for $7.78.
Also, you can wait until October when they start selling it.

1. https://www.uline.ca/Product/Detail/S-9 ... Respirator. Uline is a reputable seller of labor protective equipements and this one is certified by NIOSH but 73$/20pc + shipping it will be ~5$/pc
2. https://www.globalindustrial.ca/p/safet ... 0-n95-8200. Global industrials also sells this kind of thing from time to time, last time I remembered at the end of Aug they sold out a batch at this price 26$/20, this 3M 8200 is very good and has a great reputation. You can constantly monitor this website and buy it when it is restocked.
3. grainger.ca Now it seems to be sold out, maybe they will restock in the future.
BTW, it is not very healthy to reuse N95 masks too many times without proper sanitizing, since there will be germs (other than covid) growing on the inner layers due to moisture.
Stay healthy!
To reuse a N95 or KN95 mask, I would put it aside immediately after use and leave it untouched at home for nine days. If just to go to the store or some other task that is relatively short, I would reuse it 3-4 times then throw away. If mask has to be used for a few hours straight or more, I would throw away immediately.

I can only wear ones made in China anyways. They are smaller and fit my face better.

Look for medical masks that maintain their customized wire conformity over the nose and cheeks even after you take them off, they’ll be the same ones that don’t fog glasses (hospital issue):
