Appreciate it OP, don't know why you're getting downvoted. It's a good price for a mirrorless camera gimbal. I was looking for one earlier in the year for a vacation but those plans got changed...

Going to sit and think on this...its tempting. I have an older Lumix G7 camera that still does a decent job for my needs. If anyone else is in the same boat, even though this gimbal is newer the control cable for Panasonic cameras still works with this beast.
So! With that special cable I got from Dji.com the following you CAN do on the app... panorama - YES Time lapse - YES motionlapse - YES motion Control- YES

Side note when you push the record button on the Dji Slightly to can focus the camera!

Honestly I wish I had purchased this cable when I got the SC... would have saved me the shipping.. haha now only thing that suck is that I can’t use a small monitor while filming.

Looking at the compatibility listings, I assume it won't fit my A6400?

Is it exempt from duties through DJI? What else does the pro-kit include? Looks like the focus ring. What camera are you using?

If you're thinking of getting the Pro model off the DJI site and still have your college / university email address, you are eligible for a 10% education discount. Just registered using my uni email and it was accepted!

Without looking at the compatibility list - is there any opinions about this as a choice for my XT3 using primes? I've been thinking about getting something but haven't jumped deep into this and don't want to miss any hot deals. I guess using any long telephoto like the 50-150 2.8 is no go with any gimbal set-up? Thanks

I did it, purchased the Pro combo off the DJI site. With the education discount it ended up only being $27 more with conversion vs. the basic setup plus the Panasonic control cable.

Ronin-SC Pro + RSS Panasonic cable (after conversion): ~$457

Ronin-SC Basic + RSS Panasonic cable: ~$431 (with ON tax).

Thanks OP...my wallet will hurt but my heart will be content.

I have the A7iii - wondering if people have experience using this gimbal (or others) with similar FF cameras? I saw some reviews saying that larger FF mirrorless cameras are really pushing the weight and size limits of this gimbal, though the lenses I would be usually would probably mainly be smaller primes. Not sure if I should hop on this deal or wait to get something larger for dSLRs.
