Do Bluetooth Repeaters exist? Jabra Headset <=> Bluetooth Repeater <=> Windows Laptop

Do Bluetooth Repeaters exist? Jabra Headset <=> Bluetooth Repeater <=> Windows Laptop

When I google or amazon search for a repeater, I simply get a range extender that you plug into your audio source/ stereo. I want a repeater that will keep my headset connected to my laptop as I move further away from my laptop/office.

Similar to a wifi repeater...

Current: Jabra Headset <=> Windows Laptop (say 30 feet and lose connection)
What I want: Jabra Headset <=> Bluetooth Repeater <=> Windows Laptop (say 100 feet and lose connection)

What Jabra headsets do you have?

I got the Jabra USB Link and it helped immensely. Maybe not 100 feet though. Perhaps a long usb 3.0 extension cable and locate the USB BT dongle to a central location?

Jabra 65 stereo... I'm using the embedded Bluetooth on my Lenovo laptop... but I have a USB Link 370 - would that improve the range??

Yes, that will help the range for sure.

Doubt you want to buy another headset but one with DECT will get you up to 300ft in theory. Currently the DECT headset from Jabra is the engage 75, it is nice and light only issue is the mic needs to be right in front of your mouth. Also DECT is great for meeting audio but not ideal for music if that is a factor. Epos and poly also make good dect headsets

One other thing I have done in the past with my bose uc 700 is to use a usb extender to extend my usb signal to closer to the center of the house and then plug in the headsets usb dongle to that so I get full coverage anywhere in the house over Bluetooth.
